Intensive Training and Weight
Loss
There are loads of successful people in the world who
have succeeded by cutting their calories and taking up
exercise to reach their desired weight. But when exercise
is performed with a weight loss programme you don't even
need to call it a weight loss
programme.
You could just eat your same daily calories and burn
the extra 500 per day through intensive training which is
a high calorie burner and will shift the pounds in no
time. Of if you want to still reduce your calorie count
you can do so for a faster weight loss.
The great thing about intensive training is that it
keeps the heart level high and when the heart rate is
kept high more calories are burned. If cardiovascular
exercise is performed for example over 30 minutes the
muscle tissue may start to be eaten up for energy and when
there is less muscle in the body the metabolism reduces
in the body. Intensive training is
different.
Short bursts of intensive training to stress the body
out actually cause significant improvements to stamina,
endurance and doesn't bite into the real living tissue of
the muscles.
Here are some examples of intensive training: 2
minutes of running at 9 mph, 1 minute rest walking at 6
mph, 1 minute of running at 12 mph, 2 minutes rest
walking at 6 mph, 1 minute running at a hill incline of
5% at 8mph and a 1 minute rest.
Try to start off with a 15 minute interval training
which even though it may sound easy it isn't and needs to
be performed to see how fast your body can become
fatigued through intensive training.
Once you feel comfortable with a short bust of
intensive training, increase it to 30 minutes. A maximum
of 30 minutes intensive training 2-3 times per week will
blast that fast off your body and keep the metabolism
high plus your muscle mass will remain the
same.
Reps can be performed on a rowing machine in pretty
much the same way or you could work on the cross trainer
but to really stress your body out the treadmill will
become your best friend when performing intensive
training.
As your fitness improves and the pounds are dropping
off your body the exercise may become addictive but try
to stick to the 2-3 days training because the body needs
time to rest, refuel and grow stronger. Only when the
body rests does it start to grow stronger and your
fitness improves.
It is important to eat a healthy diet full of
carbohydrates, proteins and fibre to refuel the body so
that it grows stronger. Other forms of intensive training
are burpees which use your own bodyweight as resistance
and help to build a stronger body by creating microscopic
tears in the body which grow stronger with rest and a
good diet.
Skipping is also a great intensive form of exercise
which causes great fitness benefits to the body.
Intensive training can help you lose weight, improve your
fitness and help you reach your ideal
weight.
